It will be so refreshing to see a packed house against Baylor. It uplifts everyone playing and in the seats. Hope this becomes the trend around here real soon.

Yes, nothing more inspiring than having more than half the stadium cheering for the opponent.

It won't be an atmosphere that Chad will be familiar with.

A full house will be a new thing for virtually all of our returning players...I think they shine, for a time, in the spotlight. It will be a great day when the concept of a full house is not the exception (half full of the opposition or not).

I think Ponysnob was talking about a full house with half of it being Baylor fans. I hope the SMU fans can cheer the loudest.

It can still be electric for our team. Early June years when Sterling Moore was on SMU and Andy Dalton was QB for TCU - that game had big time energy and was split half and half.

I remember we kind of gave OU's starting QB a decent game for a few quarters in front of a full house a couple years ago. Way too many Tech fans.

When was the last time we played OU?
Any why were there so many Tech fans there?

He's talking about SMU versus Tech, and the QB who transferred from Tech to OU. The last time SMU started out decently against OU was the 7-0 lead in Norman in, what, 1986? But that ended something like 35-7 for OU.

1985 - the final game of the season that was moved from September to December for ABC since it had "national championship implications".

If this eventually trends to the LB way of winning, Ford could be a fun place on Saturdays.

Better get used to it. Stadium 50+% full of Bear & Frogs, or 50+% empty.

50% empty is actually more than we have averaged in AAC conference games in last 2 years
