I was there for about half of it. Decent turnout with most being students. I was in line for free In-N-Out and the group of students behind me were talking about getting points for the mob. I overheard one girl say she was coming to all of the football games so she could go to the basketball games. She said "I can't wait to go to a game at Moody!" They were trying to figure out the check in app so I guess they got credit for attending the practice tonight.
As for the few series I saw, Davis looked great. He was putting the ball on target. He looks very confident and in control. If the line gives him any time he has a ton of weapons with Sutton, Thomas, Gaines and Castille. Also, West is crazy fast.

No problem. I was trying to figure out who Webb was and them realized you were probably talking about West. How did Xavier Jones look?

I really didn't notice him but that doesn't mean much because I didn't see a lot of the action. I saw a couple of runs from West and I definitely noticed his speed. Also, this is the first time I got to watch Kevin Thomas. WOW, he looks the part. He and Sutton are going to give DBs fits. We haven't had WRs with that kind of size and speed in forever.

yeah I'm looking for some big blocks by our big strong WRs/TE to bust some long runs.
I'm excited that SMU will be able to show that aspect of the Morris offense in Year 1 after the Run n Dud

We are very fortunate to have Kevin Thomas. He is a big play wide receiver. I heard West had blazing speed.

Will the obsession of these kids with basketball end when SMU Football is back in the AP poll? This is Texas, just sayin...

I hope not. It has to start somewhere. Just hope they add football to the obsession one day.

Pony Boss REALLY wants everyone to know that people in Texas like football. Therefore, you can't like basketball, too. At least I think he's trying to convince himself of that.
