Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is upGoes in depth on Chad Morris's offense.
http://baylor.247sports.com/Article/Bay ... --39040801 Figured since it was free and SMU has no publisher on 247 it would be ok to post here.
Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is upAnother great write up. Thanks for sharing.
Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is up
Agreed. Although watching those videos brings back really bad memories and takes away a lot of my optimism for this year. I just remember drinking and getting more angry at all the Baylor fans at the bar...
Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is upThe writer does a great job. Watching the O-line get torn apart was painful, but breaking down the new plays and how personnel will fit in with them is great. I also liked seeing HCCM's version of the triple option.
Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is upGreat read. As painful as last years video was to watch, I can't help but get excited about the future watching Clemson's plays.
Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is upGreat read. Also some really powerful jabs at the former staff, well, head coach. It's nice to read that from somewhere other than this corner of the universe.
Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is upBaylor 247 dude is pretty good.

The article wasn't very kind to June Jones. Anything in that article you guys disagree with?
Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is up
Reality and Truth are not kind to June Jones. Is there a writer that does breakdowns this thorough of SMU opponents?
Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is up
You guys would know better than me but I don't think so. As a BU guy the concerns this offense gives me is one or two mental busts leading to a TD. Iowa State got one on a QB keeper zone read last year. BU will also play pretty tight on the WRs so the young guys could get a big play if a DB slips as it's aggressive/risky tactics you guys probably remember Bennett using.
Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is upIt looks pretty good to me.
It will be nice that we will have a normal offense this year and won't be absorbing our first hits of the season on the first play. I don't think that will change the end result, but hopefully we should be competitive for a little while.
Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is upThe author posted more video from other articles breaking down SMU's run defense vs BU and the new QB's passing performance vs SMU last year after petty went down.

Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is upI forgot we broke Petty's back. Take that Baylor. We be tough.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is upBaylor will play extremely physical on SMU's WRs. Worked perfectly against TCU one of the worst called games in 2014-then the exact same physical DB play was penalized against West Virginia when they had 8 interference calls and 215 yards in penalty yardage. Hopefully the West Virginia referees are in Dallas. The inconsistent referee calls in those 2 Baylor games was remarkable

Re: Part two of Baylor 247's free breakdown on SMU is up
Half the WV calls were bogus but TCU got away with some DPI too. One of them had a LB practically run over our WR with no call. Early fumble had TCU twisting a guys head around via face mask. They got calls too and if they didn't want calls to decide it then they should try not giving up 300 more yards than they gained.
