UCF is not very good at all. It looked like O'Leary has already mailed it in.

We need to worry about our wins. I gave no concern about the rest of our conference. They will never elevate the conference but one or two teams could be someday. I would be happy to become a big fish in a small pond.

Worked for TCU. They at least EARNED their way into the Big12 by winning and more winning. I'd like us to do the same (to whatever P5 we might join down the road - just WIN and go EARN it).

It's a lot easier to get respect when yoU beat decent teams and are in a decent conference. The AAC needs to be in the Access Bowl every year, and this doesn't help.

That just means weaker teams for us to hopefully be able to rise up against. Big fish in a little pond is the way to go right now. But let's focus on actually growing first.

Honestly, if we can manage to get out of our non-conference schedule at 2-2 I think we have a legitimate shot at winning six games. This conference is just terrible.

Front Runners

1) Memphis
2) Houston

Decent

1) Cincinnati
2) Navy
3) Temple
4) ECU (maybe not without Lincoln Riley and their starting QB is gone for the season with torn ACL)

Gaggle Of Spares

1) SMU
2) Tulsa
3) UConn
4) UCF
5) USF
6) Tulane

It'll take a break or two along the way but I think its possible to get to six wins. If we do that it'll be a tremendous confidence booster for the program moving into 2016.

When Uconn struggled to beat Villanova (FCS), I wasn't shocked. When UCF looked horrible against FIU, it was a surprise. They looked like a bad team.

At least oleary won a major bowl against a solid P5 contender before he mailed it in and didn't hang around collecting paychecks disproportionate to his effort/accomplishments
