The new location seemed to dramatically reduce their noise level being in the open end zone... despite what i thought was a great turnout for the students.

Sound doesn't reflect off of people like it does off of empty seats (just my theory)

Maybe it's just me, but it felt like a Baylor home game by where the bands were. Theirs was in the end zone in the middle of the stadium making a lot of noise, and ours was in the little corner where visiting bands previously were. At least the students showed up!

And why the hell was the Baylor band allowed to continually play while we were at the line of scrimmage on offense?

and why on earth do we not put the visiting band in the upper deck. Why are we the only wussies who are nice. Enough already.

yeah we took the seats that we gave to the opposition to neutralizer their noise to our students. guess what? it neutralized their noise. we gave the seats the students used to help make them loud and give it to the opposition. guess what? the opposition was loud.

This is why the configuration was switched in the first place, after the first year or two of the stadium.

In 104 the music of the band was hardly noticeable. Neither was the student cheering. Bad placement as far as producing sound.

Just mic the band (until they can recruit another 50 kids) and let the DJ turn Ford into Moody. No way I'm complaining about last night!
