1,000 likes! Did we get anything more than a passing mention as a Baylor pin-cushion? Did they hit on the improvements?

Not really, although it they did point out how much of a game we made it in the first half.
They did at least show some SMU highlights and not just Baylor TDs like they usually would have done.

I'll take it. Kids wake up and watch that and see highlights of us, not just against us. Just the commentary by Brown last night on the broadcast...on ESPN, everyone who saw that or watches the tape will see the direction the program is going and all recruits who have any confidence can see where they will be able to play and make an impact. Just great overall.
And keep the freaking avatar...it makes up for whoever allows footballdad to post.

I didn't record the game unfortunately. I would love to hear what Mack was saying about us.

I taped it and watch it last night. Very complimentary and felt that depth is really what wore us down.

He had one slip up when he said Baylor went to their most "expensive" receiver (he later corrected to say their most experienced).

He also referred to Baylor qb earning his pay!
No correction followed.
I liked his work.

I was very impressed with ESPN's broadcast team. They were very complimentary of the positive direction that SMU is heading in. Coach Brown also complimented Coach Briles for not running up the score, ie, putting his second stringers in.

It did look like the Baylor players wanted to pile on the points but Briles said no.

2nd team QB threw a 40+ TD pass on his first play.

It was great seeing so many of our fans on t.v. and it was cool when they showed the long lines of people waiting to get in...they showed this right after our first TD.
