For those lamenting the loss...

2005 against Texas A&M, we lost 66-8. And that Aggie team went 5-6.

56-21 against #4 Baylor...not bad at all.

The only thing I didn't like was how in the second half we would call runs on 3rd and 4 when we could have connected a pass to Sutton or Gaines for a few yards and kept the ball moving. Matt had 69% completion rate so you knew we had a good shot at getting those first downs.

When we went down 21 and Davis came back in, our play calling changed significantly so that Davis wouldn't get hurt anymore.

Morris didn't run his full offense out there, especially in the 2nd half. We were running out the clock most of the 2nd half. We had a lot of backups in as well.

Despite intentionally slowing down the game, we ran almost 80 plats on offense.

Last year, we amassed 67 yards of total offense on 65 plays.

Point of comparison:

Last year we scored 3 TDs at home all season. Against Baylor we scored 3 before halftime.
