Per head coach Chad Morris, LG Daniel McCarty (knee) is done for the year

I wish Danial a full recovery. I heard Braylon Hyder had a good fall camp. He did well when he came in for McCarty. I think this offensive scheme is a good fit for him.

In the weekly media gathering (video coming), Chad Morris and offensive coordinator Joe Craddock both praised Hyder, acknowledging that he still needs to get in "game shape" after missing the spring while injured, but praising his feet, strength, etc.

Big Man down. Hate to see that. My healing thoughts go out to him for a full recovery. Not just for football but so the thing does not effect his life at 60.

Rehab well, do what the doc tells you and don't push it till they say push it.

Oh, maybe make better grades now you have some extra time on your hands. :D

What BUS said.

I am a fan who never participated in sports. This is the advice I hope all players on my team or any her will follow and the outcome they achieve when I hear of an injury.

Best to Dan McCarty.

Go Ponies.

It makes the depth chart lose depth.

How is the kid who got popped on our first kickoff return? Helmet flew off and had to be somewhat helped off the field. Looked very lost for awhile. Ninety something I believe.

With McCarty down and Hyder taking his spot, I see only Pursley, Chamagua & Antunovic saw any action against Baylor. What about Barns? Can Saena, Natour or Rister contribute or will some of the frosh be called on to contribute earlier than expected?

In the NT Notes Saena is now in the two deep and I think that is a change from the version first seen. I think SMU wins a close game Saturday but I'd sure to see a runaway Mustang score such that the second OL plays a series as a unit.

That was Cameron Smith, I believe.

As far as our backups are concerned, this means that if we see an injury at guard, Lasecki will slide over and Barns will play center.
