I believe most would agree the two best teams in the conference play this Saturday at 7pm - Temple @ Cincinnati. Why would they play this early in the season??

Probably because Temple was coming off an okay 6-6 season and no one expected them to be this good.

Temple beat a mediocre PSU team. It is a very nice win, but let's tap the brakes on crowning them.

Both of those teams are good, but I have to believe Memphis has a say in the championship this year.

Still you don't usually see conference games for the first three weeks of the season or so.

Part of it is probably Temple having ND on their schedule, blocking a typical conference scheduling week.

No crowned either of these two teams. It is currently the two highest ranked teams in the conference. Better?

Wonder if UCF or Memphis get a nod or voice about the 'two best teams?'

Temple is better than last year. No one said PSU was a world beater. Stop diminishing Temple's win by degrading their opponent. That is like saying Baylor is overrated.

I don't think a win over Tennessee Tech really showed much of anything about the program. After Louisville I think everyone will have a much better idea of where Houston is.
