Who are these people? Do they actually exist in nature? I just spent ten minutes reading that board and you'd think SMU was responsible for the Holocaust or something, even though we've played them just three times in the past 23 years. I was going to make an account on there just to troll, but I honestly feel bad about their collective inferiority complex.

At the same time Morris hasn't proved much of nothing except for he (SMU) can recruit better than UNT


Prescott Line and Matt Davis are far superior to any we can field at QB or running back. Play smart defense and keep it close and we can win. If we blow up early it will be a rout for SMU. I hope we are ready, but after seeing SMU I fear we are not prepared for what we are about to face. Speed and QB/RB play will be the difference unless our defense can suck it up big time.


34-17 UNT is my hope. I'm honestly leaning towards 34-17 SMwho. I don't see this being very close. Whoever wins will win comfortably. Prove me wrong, please.


As much as it makes me want to throw up, I predict 48-12 bad guys win.


but I think somewhere in the neighborhood of 38-13 in favor of SMU is a pretty good score. We'll see. And I'll see it in person. Looking forward to the trip!


If we lose Saturday, I won't be of the "sky is falling" crowd because I saw it coming.


We do not have a QB and our Oline is unproven. Throw what looks to be a great coach on the otherside. -5 seems about right.

Seems about par with other fan boards. Harry (Admin) puts on some good observations. The unknown ( not having an opener) is a concern for both SMU and NTSU. We don't know exactly what they have or how the do things and NTSU hasn't seen real speed competition.

I do think HCCM brings a factor into the game evaluation that also create uncertainty. No doubt SMU is a totally different team. how will they handle a big loss against NTSU.

This game really does scare the Hades out of me cause we need to win and don't know for sure what NTSU has.

Like any other message board with a variety of types of fans whether it be those who have some insight and knowledge to those who are fans and never played college ball but think because they watch ESPN and listen to talk shows they know it all. I do notice some SMU posters seem to think that because the college is near Highland Park or has some rich alumni and students that those factors should influence who wins the game. Unless the refs are being bribed I don't think it will be a factor except to provide motivation for nt.
