-continue the process of hitting each opponent in the mouth, first series...

-competitive game going into the 4th quarter...

-4 sacks by SMU d-line or blitz package...

-at least one time make Coach Patterson scream at the TCU defense because of a Mustang big play...

-Davis still upright and functional by the end of the game....

-NO TURNOVERS BY THE MUSTANG OFFENSE...

I want GP to look like a tomato by how pissed off he is at his defense for SMU running and scoring at will. Even if we lose, scoring a lot and racking up yards will set him off big time.

I like it.

Cover the spread.

Score at least 21.

Come out of it healthy.

And win if at all possible.

4 sacks? I seriously doubt we get 2. Obvious team weakness

Control the clock. No need to go tempo against TCU

Limit yourself to one turnover max

Get two turnovers

Be within shouting distance going into the fourth quarter

Lose by less than 20

No major injuries

- Be physically competitive on both sides of the line of scrimmage
- Breakout game for Thomas or Gaines.
- A full game from Sutton
- Make offensive adjustments to find a way to get our playmakers in space (besides just Davis). Castille, West, and Jones all have the ability to make things happen in space.
- Improved performance from the secondary over the Baylor game. Safeties in the right position and corners in position to challenge completions.
- Make TCU win the game. Don't hand it to them with blown coverages and turnovers. If they win make them beat us because their great players make great plays.

Fatterson will sweat like a whore in church on Sunday morning.

Sweat towel girl will get more of a workout than GG running to the sidelines to see JJ between every play.

I agree. I'd like it to be still be a game come second half. That to me shows legitimate improvement over last year as anybody can make one game interesting the first half.

This.

First road game of the season against a top 5 team, meh. If we can keep it close going into halftime, I'll be more than happy.

Personal Expectation: Put SMU bumper sticker on the hummer that parks in office garage with TCU flags and magnets on it every Friday of a game weekend.

Absolutely agree...but, find a way to scheme to put pressure, even with the talent gap. High risk, high reward.
