I don't know what to expect as far as a crowd, but I hope we pull some more in after tonight. This team deserves better than 15-18k in the stands after that performance.

I think tonight's game was good advertisement.

This scared me for the season when I saw they set an FCS team for Homecoming. Can't make it back this year, but excited for the rest of the year after tonight.

JMU is a ranked FCS team and will have some talent. Must win and hopefully at least 20k will find their way into Ford. Boulevard will be packed

Centennial Homecoming should mean a decent showing. 20-21k imo

Homecoming always draws, best pure SMU crowd every year. It's the remaining games that will require some Mustang Mania.

always a good student turnout for homecoming. Hopefully the difference this year is that they will stay AFTER the halftime

If we can actually get 20K in the stadium, that'd be a pretty big success IMO.

Hopefully there's enough people on the east side so the students don't look all lonely by themselves on the end.

We put our student body in the end section......TCU's is in the best seats on that side of the stadium

Both TCU and Baylor give their students the best seats in the house. Since we got so many empties it seems like we should too

Something in the back of my mind tells me that we've been down this road before. Does the AAC (and CUSA) regulate where students can sit like in Basketball

Yes, Students aren't allowed behind opponent bench. SID addressed that here a few months ago. The AAC should really rethink that ruling.

It does sound familiar.

If that is the case, it is a rule that certainly needs to be changed. If The American is going to claim it will match anything the P5 schools do, we could at least be on a level playing field with fan location and noise rules considering they don't cost anything.

Small time thinking by the AAC.

I'd wondered that about the AAC. Sad to hear it's true. Our stadiums aren't exactly filling up every week. Give the students the good seats - at least for TV purposes.
