Love, love, love me some Matt Davis. As awesome as he is, he can still get better in his passing. He underthrew Sutton for at least one easy touchdown late in the game and underthrew West for another that could have given us a crucial first down. It's the little things. It sounds like I'm complaining, but I'm really not.

Definitely, I commend our fans that travelled but it is bs we could not draw better in a game that is 30 miles away. Embarrassing.

The lights were in our eyes.

They showed a couple of close crowd shots on TV that made it appear we had a decent showing. At least from a viewer perspective, and recruiting standpoint, it looked ok. Hopefully Dallasites will soon realize Chad is doing something special @ SMU.

Yes, those couple of shots made our turnout look decent. Also, Followill was constantly praising CM and our team throughout the broadcast.

It's going to take some time to develop a strong travel crowd. For some, it's a big commitment to block off six Saturday's a Fall. Many can't add a 7th or 8th to spend $100 per person to watch your team get beat by 50. Those criticing us "lazy fans" need a little perspective. A lot of fans are kicking themselves for not going last night. Many will change that going forward.
