I'll be in the stands watching and I expect a game. I wouldn't be that confident if I were a Memphis fan. There is a lot of football between now and then and if our trajectory holds we are well capable of leaving town with more than just great BBQ...

I didn't disappear. I was enjoying my Tigers winning an AAC championship and Miami bowl. We also have a 10 game win streak.
It all comes crashing down on October 17 when Ole Miss takes over the Liberty Bowl

How's basketball working out for you these days? Do you like looking up at SMU? Although, you might give us a little trouble this season with Austin Nichols being a junior. Oh, wait....

We are stocked with talent and a full roster. We have a true freshman starting at Center. He was just a 2* our of high school from the state of Alabama. I like the pipeline we have establish in Alabama. Jamarius Henderson is already being talked about as the next Deangelo Williams and he is just a true freshman from the state of Alabama
Having a true frosh start at center is never something to brag about.

Cox, as you know being a Kansas alum, there are only a handful of schools who compete in division 1A football that care more about hoops than football. Memphis is definitely in that group. Regardless how well their football team plays, that fan base will not be happy until basketball gets back on track. TigerJ knows this is true.
