Has nothing to do with SMU but I enjoy any bad news for the Aggies.

the inappropriately named Greg Little. No. 1 OLM and 4th best prospect in Country

UT caught them last year I wouldn't be surprised if they caught them again

If A&M keeps playing like they have been and Texas keeps playing like they have been, I doubt Texas catches them. Recruits will realize Strong is a dead man walking in Austin

I was surprised to see that we are not on his offer list. Maybe we did offer and he only listed P5 offers??

Texas showed pretty well last week until the very last play. Strong is far from a dead man walking. They have found their QB and I would not be surprised to see pretty immediate results.

I dont see them beating TCU, OU, OSU, Baylor, or Tech. KSU and WVU won't be easy, either.

Gotta respectfully disagree with you on this one.

I got dragged to the game by the fiance who's is a 'horn (Yes, I know. I'm dealing with it.) Cal should have won that game by a much larger margin. A half dozen blown defensive assignments in the first half alone, a fumble into UT's endzone at the end of the half, a missed FG.... I was trying to stay positive for the sake of true love and all that, but UT never should have been that close. And Dykes needs to seriously consider making a change at DC.

It's even more than that:

http://www.goodbullhunting.com/2015/9/2 ... s-analysis

There's been a paradigm shift, and it's more than coaches.

A&M going to the SEC has created the expected sales pitch, pointing out that A&M is playing Bama, LSU, Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss, etc. and UT is playing Kansas, Iowa State, West Virginia, and Kansas State. The most interesting thing about UT's schedule this year is it's non-conference schedule and they got whipped in that.

College Station and the ugly-ass campus be damned. Eighteen year-olds who want to be football players are going to take another look at the aggies.

Both sides of the line for UT remind me of the SMU line last year. Their skill position players might manage to pull a couple of games out against lesser opponents by creating turnovers and turning nothing into something, but all-in-all it is a bad team.

I believe A&M going to the SEC was a long term mistake for them. they did well their fist few years with a heisman winning QB but they are on the path to mediocrity. Of course the SEC as a whole is really mediocre this year but as always they benefit from the circle **** the media has for the SEC. Losing at home (badly) to a medicorce team doen't hurt alabama but losing on the road to the #2 team in the country nocks the ducks down considerably. It is a mistake to play in a region outside your recruiting region. If you lived in North Texas and played in the big 12 you could literally drive to all the games save 1. That is a big deal to parents.

Also Texas should always still be able to out recruit A&M. Better school, better campus, more resources, more exposure.

4 of the Top 5 teams in the Country are in the SEC according to Sagarin. 7 of the Top 25 are SEC. SEC East is a little down but the SEC West is rated 5 points higher than any other Conference/Division. Big 12 back up to No. 2

Too bad Kevin Sumlin has been out recruiting UT since he has been there. And aTm going to the SEC was the best thing to happen to them. That's were they play real football and being the only team from Texas they have the support from the state when they play against the Alabamas and Floridas of the SEC world. And the SEC is stronger that the Big 12 and more stable. The Big 12 might be split up sooner than later. Go back in your UT hole.
