Liberty Bowl seats 60,000 -it looks like 35-40,000 on a Thursday Nite. That stadium is deceptive because its an oval with most good seats on sideline. They had almost 42,000 for opener against FCS Missouri St

I'm sure they are pretty high on the list. Wouldn't be surprised to see either of these teams or Houston in a P5 conference soon.

It's been said that the traffic outside the Liberty Bowl is horrible and that has slowed the people getting to their seats, and knowing the streets around the area like I do, I can believe it.

Watching the game on TV ... that pic is towards the visitors side. My first thought when the camera rolled side-side and the one end zone was ... wow good crowd on a Thur (my guess 40-45k). I remember not so long ago watching smu play Memphis on Sat and thinking ... there is may be 8,000 here.

Sooooo over rated.

Watching this game makes me feel good about our offense vs this memphis defense (read secondary). They will get torched by Davis. And their offense ain't that impressive...Cincy really blew a few assignments that resulted in tds for memphis. That and the pick 6 is why mem is still in this game.

Great crowd.

They have certainly put in the effort. Fact remains, they're a broke school, with terrible academics, in a nasty city. They were lucky to sneak into the American.
