So said the ref after a JMU pass that was shown on the Jumbotron to clearly have hit the ground.

I disagree. The ball was coming out but from the only angle they showed, it could have been trapped on his thigh. Now, I do not think that happened but it could have and without the view from the other side there was no evidence to overturn. At least that is the way I saw it.

From the angle they showed it was very clear to me that the ball came out and hit the ground before the player secured possession. Perhaps one portion of the ball was on his thigh but the motion of the ball was clearly affected by hitting the ground

Your young eyes are certainly better than mine but I thought even though I believed it was dropped there was nothing seen to overturn.

I am just happy to find my car after the game.
