Wasn't he a pretty good DB in HS before JJ move him to slot in college?

If I remember correctly someone pointed out that he was an ath that was more impressive as a wr in HS.

On that note, is nate Halverson redshirting?

He was a very good defensive back in high school-should be moved back there as we desperately need help there.

Well since he is sitting on the bench now it probably would not hurt to try him at CB. Might work out for the best.

he was an All Greater Houston CB (7 Ints) and he was extremely mediocre as a WR in high school (about 10 receptions). He's probably not 5-9 though but he's not getting on the field at Receiver anyway

The Honey Badger's not very tall. Just sayin'.

Right. Just being fast enough to stay with someone can take a read away from the QB. We can't create size mid-season but if we have some speed sitting on the bench that can at least be pesky, put em in

Good high school credentials at CB.

Well then of course, send him on over. If he can at least provide some depth and get in the rotation it'd help out a lot more than being buried on the depth chart at wr

Definitely better than being buried on the depth chart at wr.

Him and Deion Jr. have been lost deep in the shuffle, never to be seen again.

Hopefully the coaches will be reading these comments and realize how stupid they have been for analyzing these kids last spring, summer and fall to put them in the best position to help the team. At first seems like a stupid idea but then you have Courtland Sutton on the team last year as a db and not playing to this year one of the most exciting WRs in the country?

Sutton played WR last year, and simply got hurt.

Thankfully he got hurt. It'd be a shame of he was another casualty of the June Jones roster mismanagement era and trotted out there for 3 catches on the year

I am all for trying different guys in the secondary....also need some more help at LB. Walked towards the parking lot after JMU with Nick Horton and his parents, he is a big athletic looking kid...don't know why he doesn't produce more results on the field.
