Expectations (sigh) this week against ECU...

No more looking in the rear view mirror..

-Continue to come out in the first series and punch.

-Take ONE of the options of the mobile QB away. There is no reason to allow both the run AND pass to be viable on each snap. If we are going to be beaten, limit the choice of execution by ECU's offense.

-Coaches must make adjustments at HALFTIME.

-no turnovers....please.

-DBs will be 'on an island' if the defense takes away the run. There must be improvement.

_Find a way to win

The NCAA will start investigating the football team because of this tweet

I don't blame him. He also said #GoMustangs. But to my understanding they did blame him and others in that era because the committee said they considered what happened 30 years ago. That's unreal.

Ironically, Larry legend just put the final spike in the P5 fantasy.

Even worse, probably just expedited Morris' departure plans for greener pastures.

I greatly look forward to the day when you are no longer part of the SMU community.

How many years until we are done with you-

I mean how many more years until your son is gone? He doesn't even have to graduate, he can transfer to EWU like all the other June dropout QBs.

You're a tough guy posting on a message board Paul.

Why the anger guys? Just speaking the truth. Please tell me where I'm wrong?

You going to tell me that another major scandal and high profile sanctions at SMU wouldn't be a big red flag for P5 conferences? Fair or not, this is plastered all over the world as SMU cheating yet again. Larry is as high profile as you can get, and a good argument could be made that SMU leadership should have known better from the start, given Larry's history.

Love the guy, but the chickens have come home to roost, so they say.

I don't think the basketball program was going to lead us into the big 12 or another conference. I also don't really have a problem with what you say but more so the manner in which you do. It's as if you take glee in watching the university that Jordan plays for suffer. I also don't think that this manners whatsoever to Chad Morris.

You know better than that. Morris has been following this all along, and he just got kicked in the stomach. Has to be shaking his head.

You think Chad wants his brand associated with this mess?

I think Chad is eyeballing ECU. I'm also certain he was apprised of the nature of the NCAA investigation before he signed on.

FBD, Frederick Douglass was a pretty savvy individual, especially in giving career advice to young men. You seem to have caught and applied that advice well.

I don't know if it's an expectation, but I would love to have something to cheer about on Saturday afternoon after everything that happened today.
Also, does any other fanbase have one of its own player's parents trolling it? Dear lord.

I think SMU can pull this off. If SMU can contain ECU's running qb (read: not let him run 20 times for 280 yds) and the offense keeps improving and putting lots of points up, we could see a shootout and be on the winning end of it. Clean up clock management, clean things up on defense, limit the big plays. Offense has proven they can score, and the team has won the turnover battle in all 4 games. Close ECU and get us to 2-3
