I'm tired of hearing they're bigger, stronger and faster....

I've had enough of this whining about how "they" are bigger, stronger and faster than we are.
That's the same excuse the South made after they lost the Civil War.

Baylor didn't look bigger, stronger and faster when they led by only 28-21 at halftime.
And when we closed the score from 42-17 to 42-37 against TCU, they didn't look bigger, stronger
and faster. James Madison doesn't have the talent that we have but they found a way to beat us (oh okay, they were faster).

East Carolina didn't look bigger, faster and stronger when we had a 23-7 lead. And Houston didn't look bigger, faster and stronger when we were ahead 21-14.

I don't buy it. We need to stop fumbling, we need to tackle the quarterback when he's in our grasp
and we need to stop getting beat deep. I was a slow, white guy playing safety in high school but I didn't get beat deep because I was taught not to watch people run by me.

So let's stop whining and start (bleeping) winning.

Have you not been to a game? Because they are bigger, stronger, faster. It's rather obvious. It's kind of amazing we have been in these games at the half...

Solution....

turn the volume down on your TV. Then you won't hear how our opponents are bigger and stronger and faster...you'll just see that our opponents are bigger and stronger and faster.

   Exactly!

But you'll never get a direct, logical response to the 23-7 lead over ECU followed by the meltdown. Just 'bigger/faster/stronger......bigger/faster/stronger.....like a bunch of zombies.

It's like listening to Hillary deny, lie, deny, lie, deny, lie. You just have to shake your head and laugh, because you know no matter the evidence, you'll just keep hearing the same line like a broken record.

Jordan is bigger and probably stronger. When do we get to see him in game action?

Our first half performances prove coaching, adrenaline, and emotion can carry a team for a half. Bigger, faster, stronger, and more of them wear us down in the second half. Switzer said it best, "I'm gonna win because my athletes are better than than theirs........"

Better days are ahead with another couple of classes of better athletes..........

They must have had better coaching than us.

You want a direct, logical explanation for the lead vs ECU?

We scored 13 points off of a deflected pass and a trick play. The other 10 were thanks to a short field due to ECU's quarterback starter being awful. Once ECU made the quarterback change and our luck ran out, the rout was on

TCU is not bigger than SMU. We have two WRs that can't be more than 5'7''. We have a defensive end playing tackle and two safeties playing LB. Hasn't stopped us from winning 13 straight games.

TCU has a pretty good size O line. Are you saying that SMU is just as fast as TCU?

Yes, we are just as talented as Baylor if not more talented.

bigger and stronger will get worked on in weight room where our guys have shown significant improvement in just year one of the Chad Morris regime; as for faster...that's going to take a few recruiting classes
