Two huge games for the conferenceTonight:
Cincy at BYU - 7pm ESPN. BYU favored by 7 Tomorrow: #13 Ole Miss at Memphis - 11am ESPN2. Ole Miss favored by 10.5 SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: Two huge games for the conferenceCinci's only two losses come from within the conference (Temp & Memph), and they just beat Miami. Beating BYU would be great for the conference, especially since BYU has already beat two AAC teams (ECU & UCONN).
If Memphis were to beat Ole Miss would that be the highest ranked team to lose to an AAC team?
Re: Two huge games for the conference
Plus that would make Boise State's loss to BYU look even worse. We need to weaken them as much as possible.
Re: Two huge games for the conferenceBaylor was #6 when they lost in the Fiesta Bowl against UCF.

#6 Baylor lost to UCF in the Fiesta Bowl. SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: Two huge games for the conferenceI don't think anyone will fault Memphis for losing to Ole Miss, as HUGE of a win as that would be for the AAC.
Imo, Cincy needs to beat BYU so we can keep up our "best of the rest" mantra for now. American Rising Baby.... BOP - Providing insensitivity training for a politically correct world since 1989.

Houston should cover this one easily.

Good point
Re: Two huge games for the conferenceOff to a good start.
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: Two huge games for the conference
If Ole Miss shows up flat and plays uninspired, Memphis can win. If Ole Miss shows up ready to play and has a good gameplan, it could be ugly by halftime. Memphis has a terrible secondary and Ole Miss easily has one of the top 3-4 receiving corps in the country and a quarterback with a good enough arm to hit receivers downfield regularly.
Re: Two huge games for the conferenceMempis fans think they are getting in the Big 12
How sweet
Re: Two huge games for the conferenceEvery sports show I turn on talks about where Fuentes may be next year. Wonder who Memphis will be able to attract as coach next year?
