Cinci's only two losses come from within the conference (Temp & Memph), and they just beat Miami. Beating BYU would be great for the conference, especially since BYU has already beat two AAC teams (ECU & UCONN).
If Memphis were to beat Ole Miss would that be the highest ranked team to lose to an AAC team?

Plus that would make Boise State's loss to BYU look even worse. We need to weaken them as much as possible.

Baylor was #6 when they lost in the Fiesta Bowl against UCF.

I don't think anyone will fault Memphis for losing to Ole Miss, as HUGE of a win as that would be for the AAC.
Imo, Cincy needs to beat BYU so we can keep up our "best of the rest" mantra for now.

If Ole Miss shows up flat and plays uninspired, Memphis can win. If Ole Miss shows up ready to play and has a good gameplan, it could be ugly by halftime. Memphis has a terrible secondary and Ole Miss easily has one of the top 3-4 receiving corps in the country and a quarterback with a good enough arm to hit receivers downfield regularly.

Every sports show I turn on talks about where Fuentes may be next year. Wonder who Memphis will be able to attract as coach next year?
