CBS Sports: AAC savoring seminal moment
Posted: Fri Oct 23, 2015 1:35 pmjust keep improving; SMU has to do it's part and we certainly have opportunities on our schedule in coming years to get the nation's attention. The entire conference needs to keep scheduling opportunities to earn respect. We are already a pretty good hoops league and football definitely appears to be on the way up. It would be nice to have a conference we are proud of so we can reduce the number of realignment threads on ponyfans (and it would be nice to have a strong product with which to negotiate future TV and bowl deals)
the only down side is that when SMU upsets either Temple, Navy or Memphis...it will hurt some of the good press the league's top teams are getting
