My impression and observations is that JJ worked well with the kids and was a good coach. You can question his offensive scheme and it's complexities. Whether his R & S is viable and can be learned by kids in a reasonable period of time. The whole bottom line is that everything comes down to recruiting. No matter what system you run it takes high level talent at key positions to run what ever system. JJ simply failed to recruit after the ASU debacle even surrounded by some of the best high school football in the country. Recruit or fail. Question is whether or not he has the interest and energy to restart his total failure at SMU.

JJ is all about JJ and very little else. He is the classic 'guru' model, if you study pedagogy. No one else understands 'me' and you must come to 'me' for all the answers.

I wanted to build a suitable Memorial.
The interesting part of the location is that it's across the street from a condo that he owns and directly in the path to the Marriott bar that he frequents the golf course too. I think he sold that condo however. I'm pretty sure he's seen this video and would laugh if he walked across it. I actually hope he gets that job because he needs the money
