Saw it yesterday on line, this group of frat boys live off 15th near campus. The school is furious. PC police are furious. Big games bring out crazy actions. I'm more worried about all the fights on the strip tonight. If you think Tech fans are bad (which they are), the corndogs are even worse. This very stupid sign will have their ire going in overdrive.

c) see, once in awhile it's good to not got offended at everything said by people who share a different point of view, even if the point of view generalizes.

Logically the sign makes no sense. Katrina affected New Orleans mostly, not Baton Rouge, which is about 80miles away. So not only is the frat tasteless in their humor, they are dumb too. Welcome to [the stereotype of] Bama.

Logic has nothing to do with this. Its an arch rival and an attempt to take a shot at them, not that far removed IMO from 'My Maid went to UT' comment.

Read the comment section. Very revealing. Many posters who take offense at this sign for being 'insensitive' have no issues calling all of Alabama stupid, inbred redneck racists.
