Oh boy---another record day

Navy's quarterback was supposed to break the touchdown record today against Memphis, it didn't happen. Guess who's next on the schedule? Seems like every team we play has a record of some sort against us, including yesterday. Joy joy. Lol

I would expect Navy to open as 16 point favorites and for that line to move up during the week. Next week could get ugly early and he will get his record plus some. I just want our guys to come out with the same effort they showed against Temple and keep that going the rest of this season

He has scored 77 before us. Should we be ashamed if he scores one against us. I would be much more ashamed if he or any combination of their players score 10 against us.

I'm just hope he doesn't go off and score 4-5 by himself before getting the other guys involved. Their FB is going to wear us out and I'm expecting they will break at least 5-6 big plays against us

Navy being ranked now just adds the cherry on top to the gauntlet that has been our schedule this season

We are going to end up playing 6 ranked teams this year.

we maybe getting the quality nationally competitive conference we hoped for all along with the Big East (without of course the big payout which sucks). But I expect this to self perpetuate in recruiting if we separate our league from the other G5. This year shows that SMU could still be relevant on a national level if we can pull off this turnaround

seven if you include James Madison who was ranked in top 5 of FCS teams before their QB got hurt

Since 4 of the ranked team are in our own conference should we hope that more conference teams are not ranked so we can get to 6-6 like we did in an easy CUSA? JK.

The thing to track is recruiting. If three or four of our teams are better than top 60 classes, and most of those commits have offers from P-5 schools they are turning down to come to a AAU school - we will be in the P-6 before you know it. If TV recognizes this with money, and they get the playoff expanded to 8 teams this could get interesting.
