Posted: Sun Nov 08, 2015 1:15 pmTop 4 teams in our league have definitely earned some respect. Even though Houston, Memphis, Navy & Temple may beat each other up in coming weeks, AAC is looking good for a New Year's game and the future potential for this conference looks pretty good.

The latest AP college football poll should serve as proof that the American Athletic Conference can stand up with the rest of them. Only the Big Ten has more schools in the Top 25 as the American. The SEC and Big XII match the American with four ranked schools. The ACC and Pac 12 lag behind with three each.

If our next TV deal is bigger than BYUs, then yes, if not, there's no reason for them to.
