Anyone that draws a check from SMU, or is on scholarship, should be forced to walk back from that roadside robbery. I don't want to hear any of the apologist defend this debacle. I can also settle mrydels argument on which punter is worse....they're both atrocious. I'm sick of hearing about these "seniors", one of the few, that bust his butt is Zack Wood. This team was totally unprepared to play....deer in the headlights look from the word go. We consoled ourselves, that the 55-14, Navy road game gang raping was an anomaly.....it wasn't. I'm not sure what was more disgraceful, the pacifist we have on defense, that have no desire to make it to the ball carrier...or, those rabbits masquerading as o-linemen. Props to Fuentes for running the play clock down; and emptying his bench the whole second half, because they could have scored a 100 on this hapless bunch. Most disappointing, embarrassing and pathetic way to end the season.

Why don't you tell us how you really feel.

Our punting did have a high reading on the suck-o-meter.

Let's start naming names of the most useless seniors on our team. I love it when their parents get on here and get mad.
The reality is that our seniors all have jobs waiting for them at Enterprise-Rent-a-Car, like most athletes. So we'll all be seeing them whenever we rent cars.

Let's get back to Dallas and continue recruiting our future stars for SMU football. Bright future ahead! #PonyUp #SMUMustangs

On the bright side, we only have to wait for 3 more recruiting classes to be 'competitive', assuming that also gives Malone enough 'experience' to put together a competent D.
Patience

If this is truly going to be a 3-year rebuild, we are going to lose even more fans. My family is already paying over a grand to watch this shipshow and misery; it's tough to justify that cost with similarly expensive, but 1000X more fun SMU basketball rocking and rolling. Call me soft, but we better be playing a pretty exciting brand of football in 2016 or our family's sport allegiances may switch.

I intentionally waited at least four hours to post, didn't want to offend the cheerleaders and apologist crew.

Let them leave, they'll come back when we start winning (just like they did for basketball).

Outscored in last 2 road games 118-14.

This was another painful year. Just this one was harder to tolerate for some reason. WE still made the same stupid mistake. We did exhibit discipline on D, discipline handling the ballot discipline on special teams. This isn't poor athletes but coaching.
The one thing that can improve our coaching is improved athletes. It really is amazing how good players make good coaches. I agree withBob sharp, we have got to recruit well.

Your correct, tackling is still comical in game twelve. 97 TOTAL yards against a half azzed Memphis defense, that played 2nd and 3rd stringers the second half, should tell fans a lot.
It's painful to admit, but after a good performance against Tulane, the dreaded word "quit" could be used today.

They quit and those that remain are going to hear about how they quit all off-season. Still time to clear some undergraduates off the roster

It has to drive Chad nuts. HCCM has done a good job keeping them playing hard and not quitting through 11 games. After last week, it's hard to understand, why they lifted their skirts in game 12.
