Boise/SDSU regret?

In its short existence, the AAC has out performed the MW by a long shot. It looks like the conference will soon send its second school to a BCS/NY6 bowl game - UCF (2014) and UH/Temple (2016). Four schools were in the top 25 at one point this season. I can't remember the MW having one school ranked this season, or last season.
In basketball, there's no debate. UConn wins the national championship in 2014. We currently have three schools ranked in the top 25. MW has none.
Also, our tv deal with ESPN. I know it's not that much money, but the exposure is fantastic. MW is stuck on Fox1 or somesuch.
Suck it, Boise. Your blue field is dumb. And SDSU, you suck, too.

This is about two schools rejecting our conference. Two and a half years later it looks like they made a mistake. Has nothing to do with Ole Miss or the SEC. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.
As for SMU doing nothing, I'd calling winning the conference, conference tournament and making the NCAA tournament accomplishing something....

SDSU wanted the AAC. When Boise backed out, SDSU lost the support they needed to join and had to back out as well.

SDSU couldn't justify the AAC once Boise bailed, they would be an island a good 900 miles away from their closest conference opponent.
