"Ideally, he said he'd like to transfer to a Power 5 conference program that would have a QB who will be a senior in 2016 so he'd be able to compete for an open job in 2017 when he becomes eligible."

"Oklahoma comes to mind because it does fit all those things, and my old (high school) teammate (Mark Andrews) is a receiver there, and coach (Bob) Stoops is an all-time great coach," Allen said.

If he didn't like being recruited over then he might be well advised to either play a lot better or lower his sights on the next school.
I am always amazed at how the top football schools sign multiple top recruits at the same position,.

Is Baker-Mayfield not a sophomore? I thought he was for some reason.

Mayfield is a junior, remember he lost a year of eligibility when he made the intra-conference transfer to Oklahoma.

How soon we forget that he was a "walk on true freshman" that had a field day in our 2013 opener against Tech. I believe it was also coach bro's first game. He left Tech and had to sit out a year before he could play at OU. He is a junior...senior next season.

No, I remembered that. I didn't realize he lost a year of eligibility with the transfer.

I'm sure the campus and surrounding area will seal the deal

Don't worry, I'm sure he'll be talking to Morris next, primarily because of the campus and surrounding area. You know, the important things to 5 star QB's.

Yet SMU can't outrecruit us and we double and triple SMU's reported and actual football attendance respectively.

Haha you couldn't sell out a championship game
