Who will be the next A&M QB transfer?
Posted: Wed Dec 16, 2015 10:22 amThings are alive and well with our inbred cousins here in B/CS...seems all are upset that they went 8-4 again, and with a half-billion dollar stadium, big-dollar Aggies upset, and a minor bowl, things are astir.
Kevin Murray (former Aggie QB and dad of current QB Kyler Murray) met with HC Kevin Sumlin Monday to "discuss" the current team, offensive system, coaches/coordinators, and how young Kyler fits into the picture. While no threats were reported, the elder Murray has let it be known that Kyler will not sit next year, as he did for a portion of this season.
Aggies are an interesting bunch. They are proud, boastful, and deeply insecure. After 9 years of pastoring a church full of them, I have come to love their Battered Aggie Syndrome, and love them too. They actually can be found WAITING and ANTICIPATING bad things to happen to their team, no matter what the score, or how far in front A&M is. Epic stuff.
While we at SMU go through our purge through perdition each year, please understand that it pales in comparison to the angst these folks generate. The good news is we may garner a transfer or two in the near/immediate future.
