I don't care who you are ...now THAT was funny..Iowa get a sense of humor. .... The Stanford University band makes yet another enemy with its "FarmersOnly.com"-themed halftime performance at the Rose Bowl during the blowout over the Iowa Hawkeyes.

We used to sing "Old McDonald had a farm" at Aggies games.

High school classmate of my daughter (class of only 55 students) is in the Stanford band. She fits well in the group. I can remember back when I was in college that the Yale band was just like this. Not sure if they still are.

That was amusing, but these alternative bands are usually just extended scenes from "revenge of the nerds" and are not usually nearly as funny as they think they are. It's usually painful to watch.

I'm trolling my Iowa family who are outraged

My favorite post theme I saw repeated several times was that this was akin to a performance that was racist...but worse. Would have loved to engage a few to see exactly what they meant there and how they got to that logic knot...but I don't really have time for the deep form of mouth breathing.
