Football (Not SMU)
Posted: Thu Jan 07, 2016 8:27 amThere is a movie premiering tonight in limited areas. Movie is "Greater". It is the story of Brandon Burlsworth, a walk on offensive lineman at the University of Arkansas. I, of course, have not yet seen the movie but if it is half as good as Burlsworth was a player, it will be very good. He is the only offensive lineman that I purposely would watch rather than the action of the play in order to see the pancake blocks he would perform.
It will be in the mode of Brian's Song due to a tragic ending. I hope if plays well because he was truly a great player with a fantastic story. There is a trailer available but not being able to do the linky thing I cannot post it.
