I don't even think any P5 programs have had their Junior Days yet. And if there are there probably are not many. HCCM know what it takes and is ahead of the game. This hard work will pay off in the long run.

I know that in 30 years I have never known of an SMU staff that works as hard as this one. They are all over the Internet this week and are pulling double duty on 2016 and 2017. It's going to pay off...someday!

yeah - very smart to do this right before signing day.
Also whats pretty exciting is the lure of SMU to the 2017 class . ANyone can figure out we are going to get good - but the 2017 class will have a class and a half in front of them so will experience the turnaround at just the right time. I'll bet their coaches are pointing this out - and we come out of the chute fast on some guys.

most Big 12 schools have already had a Junior Day but this is definitely SMU's earliest-and I hve no problem with the date-its certainly an improvement

the key thing to remember about Junior Days is that kids don't just show up the last day in January if haven't been working [deleted] the recruiting trail visiting kids and getting them interested in visiting on Junior Day. Chad Morris and staff get an A+ for canvassing the state-we are half a year ahead of where we were with former SMU staffs

A+ for sure as Coach Smith tweeted that it was a packed house.

This is a good sign!
