I think they will be a very good team but don't underestimate the impact their secondary, especially those safeties, had on that defense.

I wish someone would remind our fan base of that. Last year, we could leave Jackson in man coverage without a care. And that left our safeties free to do a lot of things. Now, we do have some immediate JUCO help that will ease the blow. And unless we get hit by another weird injury plague at RB, then Brandon Wilson can stay at corner, where he is quite good. But still. The group overall will take a step back. Early games against Oklahoma and Cincy will test the new guys.

I still don't quite know what to do/think when I see a lucid, relevant, non-troll post from a Coog fan.

Hopefully Ed Oliver improves the defensive line enough so that increased pressure on the QB helps the secondary out.

Houston is effin killing it. I would be way more salty and jealous if it wasn't for our basketball success. Still, glad to see both schools leading the conference in those respective sports.
