15 Best Indoor Facilities in College FootballHow will SMU's IPF, when built, compare to the best indoor facilities in college football?
Will it be among the 15 best? Among the 10 best? Among the 5 best? What will be unique about our indoor facility? Article and slideshow --- http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2624636-15-best-indoor-facilities-in-college-football/page/1
Re: 15 Best Indoor Facilities in College Football
The mysterious, mythical IPF. Should be #1 in the world x 3, if it lives up to the Ponyfans hype. Rumor has it, it's going to cost 1 BIIIIILLLLLION dollars! ![]()
Re: 15 Best Indoor Facilities in College FootballI have never seen any details except that it's a gregorian brick building with a football field inside. In the end, that's all you need right?
They all seem the same to me based on original poster's url
Re: 15 Best Indoor Facilities in College FootballIt will be indoor and a practice field. What else really matters?
Re: 15 Best Indoor Facilities in College FootballIt's a legitimate question and I hope someone such as SMT responds.
If it was just an indoor practice facility, we could have funded one for $6M-$8M several years ago. USC's was $70M and built 4 years ago.
Re: 15 Best Indoor Facilities in College FootballFor now, my high school has a better IPF than the Mustangs.
Do unto others before they do unto you!!
Re: 15 Best Indoor Facilities in College FootballIt is interesting that we talk way more about its cost than its features or amenities. I dont't care if it costs 50million or 500k as long as it serves its purpose.
Re: 15 Best Indoor Facilities in College FootballThe 100M one would have been pretty legit.
Re: 15 Best Indoor Facilities in College FootballNo track, no stands, no gregorian brick but still... Dallas vs gainesville pricing???
Re: 15 Best Indoor Facilities in College Football
Yeah, that 'gregorian' brick is really expensive stuff!
Re: 15 Best Indoor Facilities in College FootballI would love to see a line item cost sheet. Wouldn't surprise me if they pay $20/lb for dirt.
Re: 15 Best Indoor Facilities in College Football
You don't know how expensive it is to grade a flat surface
