Football Players Track Times

If anyone is interested. I was going to put this with "Other Sports" but since they are football players I'm putting it here.

Note how few major programs let their kids compete in track. Sad. Gotta specialize!!!

Look at Devon Allen in the 100M. Nice. I thought he was a hurdler only.

You can't run fast over hurdles if you can't run fast

Hurdlers normally specialize in hurdles, at least at the elite level, and don't need to be as fast as sprinters.

I don't think what you wrote is true but if it is, then advantage SMU (no track team).

Thanks for the clarity - I thought that Javelin throwers may also specialize in hurdles. I guess if you don't or can't specialize, you participate in the decathlon?
