This kid is gonna be really good and we are lucky to have him. I got to meet his dad who I had the pleasure of meeting at work and I heard Christian's story first hand from his pop and it's so inspirational! Dad played WR/Flanker at UH in the Bill Yeoman era and by the way looks like could still play a snap or two. I encourage all mustangs to see this guys story and get behind him.

I believe he was starting next to Richardson at safety in the spring. Certainly very active, made more plays than the second string safeties. Looked better than Troy Castle last year, and probably more active overall than Shaq was in the practices I saw.

The expectation is probably that Clemons or one of the frosh will start in that spot next to Richardson, but I would say he gives us better, more athletic depth than Castle did last year and looked active enough to help out on special teams.
