The roster note for Jones says he also had offers from "Memphis and others." How was it that with a good senior year in a good program he did not receive more recruiting attention?

Posted: Fri May 13, 2016 10:14 amI believe he didn't play much as a Junior due to injury-plus he's a tad undersized. Crazy senior year and his video was awesome

"Jones bounced back from an injury-riddled junior year to rush for 1,952 yards and 29 touchdowns. He also had 36 receptions for 423 yards and two TDs, helping the Lions reach the regional finals.
"It's awesome, just because of the turmoil he went through his junior year, and even going into his senior year, and then the work he put in – I couldn't have been happier for him and the success he had," coach Sam Parker said."
