SMU = WR U

Lil SMU might start getting that rep. ES has established himself as one of the better WRs in the NFL and Cole has become one of the better slot receivers out there. Our current roster is stacked with WR talent led by Court who might already be the most NFL ready player that has played at SMU post-SWC. Plus, he can shoot the three.....

And let's not forget our 6'2 200 4.38 WR that just transferred in from the SEC.

Should really get exciting once we get a QB on the roster who can actually throw the ball, in order to utilize all of that WR talent.

We have a long way to go to be in this conversation. Check back in about 15 years.

Quinn looks like the real deal but I'll let him suit up for SMU before he goes on the list.

Man, I wish he could play right away this coming season!

Exactly! What are your thoughts on Gillins or Small? It seems we'll get one of those 2 most likely (at least they seem the highest "on the board" most likely for us to land).

Who knows until they're live, against D1 competition. Who would have thought Hicks would struggle so much with his accuracy? McBride might end up being the guy if he can throw accurately within the Morris scheme.

Morris probably a little frustrated with what he's got right now. Can't really run his entire offensive package and utilize all of the WR talent in the passing game because of QB arm limitations. Doesn't really seem to want to lean more heavily on the QB as a runner because of injury and depth concerns.

Hopefully he finds the right balance with Davis this year, and either McBride, Freeman, or another QB recruit in the 2017 class, really starts to impress the minute he steps on campus.

Seems like Coach Craddock had at least one big fan when he played in Italy. A tribute film:

Who are McBrode and Freeman?

Not sure who McBrode is? But Will McBride was the second QB in the last 2 years to flip his commitment from SMU to Memphis.

Freeman is an 'athlete' who may or may not ever get a shot a QB.

Looks like all the QB eggs are now in the Brewer basket. QB situation looking shaky at best in Morris' 3rd year.

This just in, McBride has now flipped back to SMU......so he isn't the second QB in the last 2 years to flip to Memphis.

Freeman has just been re-designated from 'athlete' to...... 'the next best thing at QB since Deshaun Watson.'

And experts and pundits alike have just come to the conclusion that the SMU QB stable is loaded, with better prospects than Alabama, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, combined.

There ya go Pony, sleep tight.
