In light of all the negativity on the board, I decided to start this thread.

My Upside Predictions:
- In year 2 of the Morris offense, Davis thrives behind a decent OL and challenges Cougar High's QB for all AAC honors.
- Sutton treats the Baylor DB's like Lebron treated Curry last night -> SMU gets its first P5 win in ??? years.

my upside:
we will be way better than last year.

Upside:

Our offense will be more consistent (there were some great flashes, but not sustained or consistent in any way) - if we can get a running game going (with the addition of Thomas and another tall threat in Honey), that's possible.

ANY improvement in our defense is an upside (our DL should be better - deeper at least with McLaurin, Patrick Jones, the Scotts, and the JUCO who should all get minutes right away). That's GOT to help, right? Our DBs should be slightly better, at least more experienced/perhaps deeper.

We will run the ball with more success this year...
We will win 4 games, at the minimum...Baylor will not be one of them, but we will gooch-punch them plenty...
Davis will still be upright by November...
The defense will be bad at the beginning of conference time, but will be decent by November...
There will be an upset in SMU's favor this year...
Morris will be getting calls by the end of the season...

First few games will be hot but it will improve as the season progresses.

It will be better! I am looking for a fun season with improvement in all categories.

the improvement will largely be in the offensive skill positions. We've gone from basically no proven offensive weapons coming into 2015 to double digit offensive weapons coming into 2016-quite remarkable transformation

We will go 1-2 against Baylor, TCU, and Houston

Maybe OTP just buys two ticket in club section and uses those. Or maybe not!

Boulevard will be fun and the team will be better. Yes, the JUCO DL is much appreciated.

Morris and staff are doing well.

Well this would have been my 9th year in a row but I didn't buy any.

I was willing to upgrade donation and buy 2 bar club seats right next to 89 but my wife said she wasn't interested in going even if I got club seats - it's a hard ticket to sell fellas you already know that.

I won't have to sit next to OTP.

That's a different kind of football fan up there too. More like a soiree. .
