.@McCannSportsLaw joins me NEXT! Has he ever seen a quote like this from a District Attorney?

On the decision not to prosecute the Alabama players.

“I want to emphasize once again that the main reason I’m doing this is that I refuse to ruin the lives of two young men who have spent their adolescence and teenage years, working and sweating, while we were all in the air conditioning,” said Jones.

They had the guns and the drugs. They probably confessed. Not enough evidence to convict?

What if they had been young landscapers or brick masons working in the heat. Would he have said the same thing? If so, so be it. But I do not get the impression he would have.

I'm going to post this and then go throw up for defending Alabama... but, here goes...

Two of the brightest people I met during my time in grad school at Alabama were athletes. One was a starting football player getting his Masters in Accounting and the other was a starting basketball player getting his Masters in Marketing.

Possessing a stolen firearm is legal in 49 states? Wow.

I have no problem with mercy. I have a problem with openly stating preferential treatment for a FB player.
