DMN is clueless once again...
When have we ever worn a plain white helmet that had no mustang on it in an actual game?

SMU SID - The Story was posted by the DMN on June 30th, 2016 - yesterday. Was being pushed by Yahoo front page as well.
Perhaps the DMN is now just re-posting stories from last year...

That pony on the helmet with the flag in it is AWFUL! It cannot be seen from the sidelines. Terrible design!

SMU bias aside, ours are the best in the state.
1. SMU
2. Rice
3. Texas (hate the color, but the logo and design are good)
4. Houston (can't believe I'm writing that)
5. North Texas State
6. Texas Tech
7. Texas State
8. UTEP
9. UTSA
10. A&M
11. Baylor
12. TCU (absolutely hate the frog skin and those tricked out unis. Ugly.)

Apparently bias not aside LOL. And Rice at #2? I guess you are combining academics in uniforms ratings, LOL.

Nope. I like the colors, and I like both Rice helmets -- with the owl wings and with the old English "R"
