Hunt hoping to break through for Cincinnati Bengals

By Jay Morrison

CINCINNATI — Margus Hunt hasn’t delivered the type of production the Cincinnati Bengals hoped for when they selected the Estonia native in the second round of the 2013 draft, which is why this preseason is so pivotal for the 6-foot-8 defensive end.
Whether due to injuries or simply learning the nuances of a sport he didn’t begin playing until he was in college, Hunt has found it difficult to earn playing time during his first three seasons.

He heads into the final year of his contract with 12 career tackles in 29 games, but he also carries some added confidence thanks to an offseason session with Hall of Famer Kevin Greene and an added role in the defensive scheme.
