Courtland Sutton showed a lot of speed after the catch on that 88-yard TD play. He clearly out ran the defensive backs.

I didn't even realize sutton was the one who had caught the ball at first glance. He looks a step quicker than last year

Yeah, let's enjoy Courtland now becuase we may only have 11 or 12 games left to see him in an SMU uniform. If he keeps making grabs like he did last night, he needs to go get paid next April

It'll be interesting to see what kind of coverage he gets from Baylor. He was covered on that Hail Mary TD into the end zone by more than one guy. Hopefully if he draws double coverage, another WR can take advantage.

It's not too selfish to hope that just enough receivers out perform him this year that he stays another to help his draft status, is it?

Think that's where Proche can really do damage to opposing defenses this year

Ha, I think it'd be great for Chad to put a WR in the NFL in year two. Plenty of talent at WR spot already anyways -- Proche, Benson, Shelmire, Castille, Thomas, the LSU transfer. They're not as good as Sutton but that's an area we have some talent. If Courtland plays well enough this year to be an early round draft pick next year, that's awesome.
