Mustangs on NFL practice squads
Posted: Mon Sep 05, 2016 12:33 amSaturday was a rough day for SMU grads trying to make NFL rosters, as Richard Crawford (San Diego), Ben Gottschalk (Tampa Bay), Josh LeRibeus (Washington), Sterling Moore (Buffalo) and Shakiel Randolph (Kansas City) were waived as NFL teams trimmed their rosters to the final 53-man limit.
The Ponies regained a little traction Sunday, however, as the Buccaneers signed Gottschalk and the Chiefs signed Randolph to the practice squad.
