That game was very winnable. Average QB play and this is a totally different outcome.

can someone explain why ppl talk about Brewer as if he's the second coming of Christ? just searched him on Rivals and his other offers are Southern Miss, Hawaii, Bowling Green, UL-M, and UNT.

Not the second coming of Christ but a good QB. He has run HCCM's system since the 8th grade or so and is a very accurate QB. Just not a tall guy at only about 6 feet. Peavy will do well next as well imo if they decide to redshirt Brewer.

Pretty sure the QB position will be much improved next year, regardless of who becomes the starter

You can be experienced and inaccurate. LA Mustang's friend was right, just need a decent QB. And that is not saying Hicks won't get better because he can.

He did everything right except those red zone picks and collapses

I'm confused: We're a QB away? Ben Hicks had offers to Florida and Michigan. If he was good enough for those programs, then I don't understand why he isn't the QB now.

I also don't understand why Garrett Gilbert and Ramon Flanigan are the only QBs who have really done anything since the DP. (Mike Romo, too.)
