Exactly! He has all the tools that's for sure. With a bit more coaching/experience at the position, he would have scored a TD and about 50 more yards (a couple of times he could have spun out of situations or better footwork on about 3-4 runs I saw). Kid is amazing. This staff of course gets it and I love these young kids (I think Alphonso Thomas could be better than all of them -- just think: X Jones, West, Freemon, Thomas - and we have a good one already committed next year . . . THAT'S depth!). Play em all. Stallion is right, don't worry so much about W/L this year, it's just getting them experience. Bowl next year and big time jump the next year and each class just keeps getting better (4 star in this one, and an OL at that! and maybe 1-2 more in next one).
So, Stallion, given what you saw at BU, would you say our defense is a little ahead of schedule than you originally thought or just way too soon to tell?
