Big Al's scattershooting

So much has been covered; so just a few brain farts here...

While many have been celebrating another glorious moral victory...it gives me Deja vu.
Last season with tha Bears, we only trailed 28-21 at the half. Baylor then gets their wake up call [deleted] chewing... promptly holding SMU under 100 yards of offense and shutting us out, on the way to a 35 point victory. Yesterday, defense was playing well, offense played well between the 20 yard lines and we have a 6-6 tie at the half. Boom...halftime you better wake up [deleted] chewing. Baylor outscores SMU 34-7, piles up 342 2nd half yards, while holding Ben Hicks to something like 63 yards passing...and running a total of 103, yes 103 offensive plays.

Remember The Alamo...remember James Madison!
Familiar; last season SMU opened the season with a moral victory against Baylor, defeats north texas state university, notches another moral victory against TCU, then loses to a guy named James Madison... and as Coach Morris said...we never mentally recovered.
The Liberty game will be a good barometer, to see if this team is determined to not let history repeat itself.

I'll add more later, heading out for dinner....oh, the road whites look great!

The Liberty game is on coaching. It's up to the coaches to get these guys mentally ready! Remember James Madison! (Do they have a running quarterback?) Better come out with a chip!

Liberty is coached by turner gill, once a hot commodity in the coaching world. Don't sleep in the this game. we "should" destroy them but who knows

Confused, I thought Liberty was our mascot, along with Justice?

I agree. We are pretty much in the same situation that we were in last year. Especially when you look at those stats that you posted.

After sitting out the opener at UNT, Michael Scott and Jarvis Pruitt played against Baylor. Bryce Wilds also got his first action of the Season at right tackle.

Listening to Coach Morris on his radio show tonight, sounds like he read Big Al's scattershooting.
