To be fair however, couldn't they get suspended for consensual sex at that school?

I would suspect at Liberty that the students sign a behavior paper that makes them promise that sex is not allowed.

That is correct. They were suspended from breaking the conduct code which would be tame by most standards. Let the record show that unlike in Waco our school is willing to suspend key football players.

At Baylor, sex outside of marriage is a violation of the code of conduct as well. That's why the coaches threatened to call the victims' parents. Guess that's what you were getting at.
